Abstract

The paper offers a survey of the Upper Cretaceous fossiliferous finds in the region of western Serbia between the towns of Užice and Višegrad. The Gastropoda and Bivalvia fauna has provided the basis for the recognition of the Albian-Cenomaman (Golo Brdo) and Cenoniaman (Božurica, Popovo Brdo) sediments.
